Allium fistulosum
This is an heirloom bunching onion from Alta Franz in Washington State. This welsh onion (scallion) returns year after year (perennial), producing upright, vigorous mild green onions in early spring. A delight to have in the garden.
50-75 seeds per pack.
Seed starting
Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. I like to sow the seeds in groups of 3 and cover them ever so lightly with soil. Keep moist. Transplant outside once plant is established.
We live and garden on ancestral territory of Algonquin Anishnaabeg People, forever territory of wild fauna & flora, cultivated lands of Irish and French settlers, and now beloved home of the junco seeds family (humans, chickens, dogs, sheep and cats)
