These plants thrive in rich soils and sunny locations and will grow to a height of 6 - 8 feet. They are biennial, meaning they will bear fruit on the second year. Petals can be used for dyeing.

Seed starting
Direct seed in the garden at about 1/4inch depth, 1 week before last frost in the spring OR transplant seedlings outside 2-3 weeks after last frost. Space to 2 feet between each plant. Voilà!
